I’ve been watching Archer. The show is enjoyable, but it seems like most scenes come down to this:
Character A (who could be any character) says or does something ridiculous.
Character B (any other character) says that character A is stupid or insane.
Repeat with combinations of any or all characters.
In a sense, it reminds me of the sitcom Sex and the City, which I can sum up in one 15-second scene:
Four women are having lunch.
Woman A (who could be any character): My new boyfriend — he’s — he’s — he’s not perfect!
Women B, C, and D: Dump him.
Repeat with combinations of any or all characters.
Repetition, you are the soul of television.
